Now that I am running 10.5 Leapord on my Mac I can take advantage of FUSE (File Sytem in Userspace). Use of Macfuse along with MacFusion will mpount a file system on my Mac with a “bridge” to the actual kernel. I was using this in the later days at Takkle to access the file system, the only reason I had to login was to check in or check out code. More information can be found below.
